Call For Masters/PhD Papers

 

Welcome to the IEEE WF-IoT 2024 PhD/Master’s Forum Paper Submissions!

We invite M.Sc./Ph.D. students in the dynamic realms of the Internet of Things (IoT) and its supporting technologies, along with IoT applications, to showcase their innovative thesis/dissertation research. Whether your work has been recently completed or is still in progress, this forum provides a valuable platform for sharing insights, receiving feedback, and networking with peers and industry experts.

 

Key Considerations:

1. In-Person Engagement: Emphasizing interaction, our forum will be held in person, featuring multiple sessions to foster lively discussions and knowledge exchange.

2. Publication Opportunities: All submitted papers will undergo rigorous review and accepted works will be published in the prestigious WF-IoT 2024 proceedings and on IEEE Xplore.

3. Theme Focus: Aligning with the overarching theme of the event, "Unleashing the Power of IoT with AI," we encourage submissions exploring this intersection across applications, technologies, and societal impacts.

4. Diverse Format: The forum will encompass diverse presentation formats including lectures, panel discussions, and potentially poster presentations, enriching the learning experience for all participants.

5. Best Student Paper Contest: Exceptional submissions will have the chance to compete in our Best Student Paper contest, highlighting outstanding contributions to the field.

 

Submission Guidelines:

1. Originality and Quality: Submitted manuscripts must present original work, demonstrating clear problem statements, proposed solutions, and significance within the research domain.

2. Thoroughness: Ensure your submission adheres to editorial standards, providing comprehensive coverage of relevant literature, and showcasing novelty and relevance.

3. Plagiarism Check: All submissions will undergo thorough similarity checks via CrossCheck, ensuring originality and integrity.

 

To submit your paper for the IEEE WF-IoT 2024 PhD/Master’s Forum, ensure your submission is completed by May 31st, 2024. Acceptance notifications will be sent out by July 15th, 2024, with final submissions due by August 1st, 2024. Please use the provided link to submit your paper via EDAS, selecting the Ph.D./M.S. Forum designation as your track. Prepare all necessary details, including author information, paper title, abstract, keywords, and the paper itself, adhering to provided templates.

Your paper should not exceed three pages and must follow specified formatting guidelines for smooth processing and review. Upon acceptance, provide a finalized PDF version of your paper and complete the copyright form by the designated deadline. To ensure inclusion in the proceedings and publication on IEEE Xplore, register as required by the deadline. If needed, request a visa letter during registration for visa assistance.

Authors or co-authors must attend the assigned session for paper discussion; absence may lead to non-publication.
